Our journey began in 2008…

We caused a seismic shift in the way learning is perceived and consumed in Africa.
We built a fully-virtual platform where Africans, regardless of who they are can access global standard learning resources.

Our Philosophy

Our father used to say this: “the only thing someone cannot take away from you is what is in your brain.” He was a firm believer in the power of education as this was the main contributor to him elevating his family out of poverty. By continuing his legacy, we remain firm believers of the power of education and recognize that empowering our youth provides them with the essential ingredients for sustainable success.

Truth - Fact - Reason.

Truth: we seek truth in all we do. By empowering our youth through education, and eliminating illiteracy, our youth will be equipped to seek truth around societal norms. Being able to seek, consume and handle truth would enable them to effectively contribute to society.

Fact: facts speak louder than opinion. Facts are more sustainable than opinion. Fact is more consistent than opinion. Therefore we value and cherish facts and educate our youth with these core premises. Our school teaches fact and not opinion.

Reason: reasoning and critical thinking form the cornerstone of individual successes. We strive to ensure our youth are able to engage in critical thought and reason.

Key Of Success

Our measures of success are rooted around excellence, safety, comfort, humility and transparency, all captured through a set of key metrics:

  • Passing grades: The percentage of students that pass the common-level exams.
  • Secondary school admissions: The percentage of students that are admitted into secondary schools.
  • School ranking: The ranking of our school with regards to certain key metrics established by the ministry or education (such as cleanliness, security and safety, amenities, student rankings, etc).
